Create Your Own Movie Based Clothing Line! Be Discovered through Design Contests!

Are you a designer? Have you ever wanted to create your own clothing line? Maybe you have already, but never tasted the success you envisioned. What stimulates you to create something out of nothing? Here is a list of what exactly you need to know to be discovered:

  1. Identify your potential clients and how you are going to reach out to them, either by opening a store, or a website.
  2. Make sure you can get the licenses from the movie studios, they may ask you for a percentage of your earnings. In the long run, it may be worth it.
  3. What materials and textiles that you can use and what matches your budget.
  4. Find out what distribution channel you will use.
  5. How will you produce your product? If you do an In-house production, you will need basic equipment, like sewing machines, pressing equipment, and some type of storage.
  6. How much will you need to start you venture.
  7. Will you do all the work yourself or hire a team of experts.
  8. Find design contests that you can find new designers that you can learn from or even hire them to help you.
  9. Find contest and sweepstakes, where you can showcase your work and possibly be discovered.
